What Real-Time Marketing Actually Is

Live launching is real-time marketing in action. It’s a necessary part of any business, allowing you to get instant feedback and showcase the things you’re excited about. But businesses are busy! And this makes live marketing challenging. That’s why you’ve got to have an experimental mindset and a plan. We need to do what feels important to the overall objectives, honor what our intuition is telling us, and pay attention to the analytics.

How to Think About Real-Time Marketing Like a Stage Manager

Imagine you’re on stage with a microphone, talking to a crowd. You want to assess how they’re responding to you. When are they laughing, gasping, or falling asleep? Their responses are going to drive what you do more of and what you do less of. Your live marketing, as much as you might not want it to be, is the same as standing on a soapbox or stage. The issue is, so many people believe this is the only way to market your content, but it’s just one way!

Why It’s Essential That Live Marketing is Not the Only Way You Market Yourself

If live marketing is your only strategy, you will burn out. End of story! You need other ways that are going to help you to drive sales and keep working even when you are not. This is where automated marketing comes into play. There is a misconception that automated marketing is like a flashing neon sign doing all the work for you.

Spoiler alert: it only works if you put the work in. Automated marketing should complement your live marketing, not replace it.

How Live Launching Can Fuel Your Evergreen Funnels

Building an evergreen funnel is not enough! Without fresh traffic, your funnel is like a lonely Ferris wheel in an empty field. Nobody is having fun. At the same time, relying only on live marketing isn’t sustainable. The reality is, you can’t be “on” all the time. There will be times when you have to walk away and trust the systems you’ve built. The key is balance. Live marketing drives traffic while automated marketing captures momentum, converts sales, and scales your efforts. Together, they’re the perfect combination.

One Question I Need You to Ask Yourself Today

Are you running enough real-time marketing to keep your funnel full? Are you relying too much on one method, one platform, or one type of content and ignoring the rest? If you’re only moving through the funnel in one way, you’re likely missing opportunities you’d capture by diversifying your approach. I still live launch! I do daily, real-time marketing. It keeps the energy high, gets me excited to share my ideas, and allows me to do campaign-based promotion. And my automated funnels? They’re working in the background, ensuring long-term, sustainable sales.

Finding the Balance Between Always On and Automation

Your business doesn’t have to be live all the time. But having live elements makes you feel more human to your audience. It’s easy to get caught up in how to strike the right balance—what does that even look like? How do you take an offer, put it out into the world, know what’s working, and automate that? Then, how do you consistently send traffic to it? I’ve been there! That’s why I built Next Level Funnels.

For a long time, I thought automation was just about sending emails, but that’s only one piece of the puzzle. The best funnels have so many more nuances to them and I want to walk you through the process, step by step.

If you’re ready to build a funnel that keeps working for you, head to Next Level Funnels for more details!
