Part 1: Big Announcement - The Next Chapter for Boss Project
Episode 759: Show Notes
For any person or business, there will always be countless things happening behind the scenes to keep track of. Here at Boss Project, we’ve had some pretty big changes happening offstage in a surprisingly short amount of time! Today, we’ll be chatting about these changes, how we’re navigating them, and what you can expect from Boss Project going forward.
Tuning in, you’ll hear some pretty big news along with our thoughts on what we’ve learned from adjusting to these new developments and an overview of our upcoming four-part series. While periods of transition can be intimidating, they can also be incredibly exciting. This may all be happening a lot faster than we expected, but we have full confidence in our plans going forward and we invite you all to be a part of it!
Some Changes Happening at Boss Project
Today, we share a very important announcement. Emylee is wrapping up her last week as Co-CEO and CMO at Boss Project in order to devote more of her time to other projects that she has been working on (which you can learn more about in our upcoming episodes). But don’t worry! She won’t be disappearing altogether. You’ll still hear her on this podcast for a little while longer. And for those in our paid communities, you’ll still see Emylee in some of those coaching sessions. She’ll just be working a little more behind the scenes than she has in the past. Listeners can also rest assured that, while the format of this podcast may change, we certainly won’t be going anywhere!
Our Commitment to a Seamless Transition
Although we are still in the middle of figuring out what this transition looks like for us, we have complete confidence in where we’re going. We want to assure all of our listeners and clients that we are committed to a seamless transition and uninterrupted service because you are all valued to us. We have a dedicated, experienced team in place, and each member is well-versed in the intricacies of your business. Boss Project will continue to provide that same level of dedication, expertise, and personalized attention that you've come to expect. We are so thankful to each of you for being here!
Preparing for the Unexpected
As business owners, you need to prepare for as many scenarios as you can, from medical emergencies to unexpected family difficulties. But the truth is, despite all your planning, you can’t predict everything. We may have had a very helpful buy-sell agreement in place, but because we hadn’t revised it in several years, it hasn’t been much use to us during this transition. Instead, we needed to get creative and come to an agreement together during a stressful period versus something we’d agreed on previously when we were in a more balanced head space. This is definitely a lesson that we will be taking with us into the future!
Our Upcoming Four-Part Series
In our upcoming four-part series, we’ll be discussing how we’re navigating this transition as well as what exciting developments lie ahead. We’ll be reflecting on our relationship, the journey of Boss Project, and all of the achievements and challenges along the way. This series will also include more in-depth discussions about the projects Emylee will be pursuing. So, if you’d like to learn more, be sure to tune in for our upcoming episodes!
