Evolving Your Social Media Marketing Strategies
I want to drive visibility that is helpful to the business and create content that drives clients to me and converts them. I am not new to monetizing on Instagram and I have constantly pivoted my strategy to successfully drive free and organic traffic to my business. My overarching strategy for selling digital products hasn’t changed much but what has changed is my marketing strategy as the trends evolve. I want to look for what will work for me and what I can teach my clients to do successfully themselves. I have always known that Instagram is the space where I show up best so I spent months observing accounts that had grown rapidly to figure out what they were doing right.
The One Thing I Did to Get 222 New Students in Just 42 Days
The answer to this question is so much simpler than I think people realize! I found that when I understood the strategy and implemented it consistently, it started to work! I specifically modeled what was successfully driving traffic for other people. I decided to show up on Instagram every single day and send the majority of that traffic to a low-priced digital product. In the first 42 days alone, I had 222 new students from just Instagram! The projected earnings from these new people are insanely huge. That’s not to say that everyone would get the same success as I did but I want you to know that most of these posts were not made on accounts with large followings so there’s no reason you can’t do this too.
How Instagram Visibility Helped Other Areas of My Business Grow
I want to talk about some of the side effects of this that I wasn’t anticipating. My goal was to use Instagram to drive free and organic traffic but what I didn’t expect was that the visibility in other areas of my business would increase alongside that. In the same time frame and because of the buzz Instagram created, I landed three brand deals, got dozens of new podcast sponsors, was invited as a guest on other podcasts, had an interview with CMBC, and I filmed for a TV show. I’m sure that all of those things didn’t have something to do with Instagram, but the Instagram visibility amplified the reputation I already had.
The Importance of Mindset
Sure, all of this success can be attributed to strategy, algorithm, dedication, and hard work. But it’s also about mindset! Throughout this process I had the most positive mindset and that energy was so clear in the content I was producing. Even my team is excited and the community has been infected by that positively. You cannot just keep doing the same things in your business. You have to continue to evolve and do new things, show up positively, and be excited about doing them. I want you to feel good at work, be excited about the work that you’re doing, and be surprised about something new because of the energy you’re putting out. I want opportunities for you. A huge part of this is having a good attitude and having fun.
