5 Ways to Use Dubsado Forms to Run Your Business

We’ve said it a million times and we’ll say it again: One of our favorite features of Dubsado is their forms! Their form builder is beyond easy to use, and they’re even easier to send off to clients or embed in your website. Within minutes, you can have a beautiful form created thanks to their user-friendly layout.

Forms are so versatile and can serve many different purposes. Don’t let the categories fool you– whether it’s a proposal, questionnaire, or lead capture form, you can turn it into just about anything you need. In this post, we’re going to share different ways that you can use Dubsado forms to run your business!

Turn a Proposal into a One Page Website

The cool thing about Dubsado is that it streamlines your proposal > contract > invoice all in one step if you choose for it to. If applicable to your business, you could even have a public proposal. When you direct clients to the link, they’ll be able to view your packages, services, about you, testimonials, and more all on one page. They can select which package they’d like to purchase plus any add-ons, enter their information, then sign the contract and pay the first invoice all in one step!

If you don’t like the default link Dubsado creates, you could take it into Bitly and shorten it so that it’s even easier to add to buttons on your social channels or send directly to potential clients.

Send Approvals with Subcontracts

We think subcontracts are the most underrated Dubsado form, especially for businesses like photographers, designers, wedding planners, stationery designers, florists, etc. If you ever need to send a proof of something to get client approval, subcontracts are the way to go. Because they have to give a signature, you’re protected legally, so it will save you an immense amount of possible headache in the long run after dealing with tons of clients.

Turn Questionnaires into Informational Sheets

Did you know that you don’t have to actually include questions in your questionnaires? They can function as more of a document that clients can download or keep inside their client portal. This opens a door of possibilities for what you could turn them into. If there’s certain information you need to send, try building it out as a non-questionnaire (our new nickname for questionnaires without the questions).

Our favorite idea for a non-questionnaire is turning it into your Client Onboarding Guide. Just like you’d have a PDF version that you might send in an email, this one is a Dubsado form so it’s more cohesive.

Use a Questionnaire to Create a Client Homework Checklist

If you usually have homework for a new client to complete before you can officially begin working with them, turn a questionnaire into a checklist. Add checkbox blocks for the tasks you need them to complete and free response blocks for additional info you may need for them, such as application login details. Dubsado also has a file uploader block, so the client can easily upload photos and files right into the form. *swoon* A huge plus side to this is that you’ll be able to easily see when they’ve completed their homework because all they have to do is submit the form afterwards!

Turn a Lead Capture Form into a Waitlist

Have a new service you’re planning to add soon, and you want to start gathering interest? You can turn your lead capture form into a waitlist form! This will add potential clients as a new lead in your Dubsado account. Be sure to create a new project status so that you can easily organize and keep track of these people.

To take it up a notch, create a workflow that will send a thank you email, follow-ups to pitch them on services you currently offer, and announcements for when the service launches. Then, you can apply this workflow to the form settings, and it will automatically fire off.

These were 5 ways that you can be using Dubsado forms right now to run your business! We love Dubsado because it’s such a robust, yet intuitive and user-friendly platform.
