Free Challenge: 4-Day Batch Blitz

Episode 484: Show Notes

Today we are talking about batching your shiz! Yeah, girl! We know it’s a sexy topic going into the holiday season, but even in general, people want to get as much done in as small a window as possible so they can focus on the thing that they started their business to do. A lot of people find marketing monotonous, which we get, and we have been making it not only easier for you but also more fun with the Creative Template Shop.

Another great way you can wrap up the end of the year is by batching a bunch of content so you can serve your clients, finish projects, ship out orders, get things listed, have fun in the holidays with your family, and renovate the new house you just bought too! So, to do this and to make it fun, we decided to bring back the challenge concept, and today’s show is all about our newest one – The 4-Day Batch Blitz!

Introducing The 4-Day Batch Blitz

We know how much you guys love challenges – we have done tons of them in the past. We’ve had thousands of participants, who have always accomplished so much, like getting a product to market in under five days, and it has always just been bananas! So, in keeping with this theme of getting lots done in a short time, we put together the 4-Day Batch Blitz! In this new challenge, you will be putting together 30 days of marketing in just four days – and don’t think this is going to require you to work all day in those four days either! There is going to be a variety of marketing-related content covered – not just social media but so many other topics. So, if this sounds fun, head over to https://bossproject.com/batch and get signed up. It’s free. This challenge will be four days long, running from the 17th to the 20th of this November. We will email you the details and guide you through the challenge. There is going to be accountability and you are going to get it done! We will cover over 74 templates for you to get branded, scheduled, marketed, filled out, put out – all the things. It’s going to be incredible!

Day One: Everything Instagram, and Getting Clear on Your Goals

The first day of the challenge will be focused on Instagram (which you can repurpose to Facebook too). We will get you geared up to make 15 graphics each for your stories and your feed, so you can have posts scheduled for every other day of the month. You can also be an A+ student and make enough content to post each day. We want you to use this as a way of embracing content creation, but also as something you can look back on and track the results that were produced. We are not just trying to make content for its own sake, but as a way of driving results. To do this effectively, we will have a pre-workshop session where you get clear on your goals for this content. Do you want to drive product purchases, create more leads, or book discover calls? You will use those goals to shape the content you produce, so you create content with a purpose and not just content that tells a story. So in this process, you can join the Creative Template Shop but we will also give you content ideas for how to write your content, and we will walk through how the story side and the selling side of content creation are different.

Day Two: Building Graphics for Repurposing Content on Pinterest

At this stage, you will have Instagram covered, so we will use our second day to move into more long-term related branding. We know Pinterest well and the newest information on how to market on this platform says that less is more. Quality content is more long-lasting and creating different graphics that lead to the same content aids growth. So we will be helping you create a bunch of different blog templates for the same content. We will also cover new strategies which might not be as tried-and-trusted, but which are definitely worth testing out – things like Shop the Look and video pins. We will have templates for those to make it even easier. The whole point of Pinterest is driving traffic to a place you own, like your blog, but you could also drive it straight to a freebie, email list, webinar, or even product sales page. All of this will depend on what you are offering. So much is possible and in our opinion, you might be underutilizing a market because while Emylee drives most of her sales from Instagram, Abagail is willing to bet that more of her traffic has come from Pinterest. Luckily for you, we cover both!

Day Three and Four: Email and Video Strategies

As much as we love social, we are perhaps more obsessed with, and huge proponents of, things that people can own. Things that diversify your sources of clicking, buying, and opting in. So, on day three we will be making everything you need template wise for emails, plus we will drill down on some strategy for how to use them. While this is a ’30 days of content in four days’ challenge, we want to let you know that sending out one email a day for 30 days is not a good strategy! Therefore, we will walk you through a strategy of sending four branded and customized emails a month. On day four we will be tackling video. Before you want to back out, we want to tell you that video is doing too well right now to ignore. Reels are where it is at! Video is how people are being discovered right now – Emylee got 40K views on a recent reel. The good news is that you don’t even need to be in the video for it to work. Depending on your needs, we will have a strategy for you that will work. Reels need to have an eye-catching cover to draw people to click on them, and sometimes a thumbnail just isn’t good enough, so we will also be focusing on making compelling graphics for reel covers.

The Value of Batching, and The Time You Will Need Each Day

As we wrap up on today’s show, we want to reflect on why this challenge would be helpful. Before that though, we just want to go through a few things about time expectations. The idea of making 30 days’ worth of content in only four days might seem intimidating and like a lot of work. But if you engage properly with the pre-challenge goal setting session, sign up for the Creative Template Shop, sit with us in the videos, and focus on each day’s theme without distractions, all you will need each day is two hours. As far as the benefits, we promise you, once these four days are over, you are going to sit back and be like, “Wow, I have the whole of the next month done!” Moreover, this is all about a mentality of repurposing, not making each piece of content in a silo, but allowing them to feed into each other and inform each other. It is also about forming a habit around batching and seeing if it works for you! So head over to https://bossproject.com/batch, sign up for free, and we will see you there!
