Here at Boss Project we remember being young in the game; it was not that long ago! It is easy to look around and feel frustrated at everyone else's success, the success you are so badly lusting after. We usually try and figure out what our heroes are doing and how we can mimic it to get to where they are. Something that flipped this whole dynamic for us was the idea that you should never be comparing your beginnings to someone else's middle. This sentence stuck with us for a long time and helped us to take down our guard and look backwards to where other people started instead of where they are now.
Try this with us; think about a popular business or business person that you admire, one that makes you think, 'Damn! I want a piece of that!' If you want a business like theirs or something similar, the chances are you keep them in mind pretty often. Now believe us when we tell you that almost all of them started with services! That's why we have launched our new program this week! It is called Start with Services and it is the bomb! We know that for most of you, the biggest hurdle is not that you have nothing to sell or no great ideas, but rather that you need more leads and buyers. We teach the exact methods for these things. We want you to be able to go to your inbox and find new and interesting leads there every morning! Wouldn't that be great? So we made this program just for you to get there. Why Starting with Services is So Important
Often we feel that if we look at what others have done we can skip steps and see the same results, this is wrong! You might not end up in the exact same place as your heroes but you can definitely end up in a great place that is uniquely yours. We really never thought we would get to where we are today and when we get asked questions about this it is hard to answer because we did not know all of this back then. The important first steps are building a foundation of profit, income and stability and the best way to do this is, you guessed it, to start with services!

Our first example is Abby Ashley, the phoenix from the ashes and hidden gem of the internet! She is the queen of the VA game is intentionally undercover famous all over the world! She has said herself, that services are the best way to start an online business and now she runs a seven figure company that grew out of the one on one services she started with! She learned everything she knows now by helping people in the beginning, it is also the fastest and easiest way to make money, open important doors and build a bigger client base. If we look to our friend Hilary Rushford, she started as a stylist, advising people on capsule wardrobes and how to dress better. Out of this she grew a brand and is now teaching Instagram with Intention among other programs. She also has a seven figure business! Jenna Kutcher started as a service based photographer, she did tons of weddings and then started to teach about photography, IG and building lists. The model is the same throughout!
Natalie Frank, The Rising Tide and HoneyBook
Natalie Frank is the Head of Community at HoneyBook but started as a wedding photographer in college where she was grossing six figures every year! From there she launched The Rising Tide Society, which was subsequently bought by HoneyBook. What enabled her to establish her current role at the company? It was her early service based experience that was critical in teaching her about entrepreneurship and the power of relationships and reputation. She believes very strongly in the impact of the client experience which is something we share! So what was her exact strategy for getting new clients? Through relationships and referrals, just like we keep saying! In our new program we have a section called the Double Whammy Referral Engine, this allows you to use clients and other businesses in your space to get more work. All of this is actually quite common practice among successful business owners but is just not often spoken about in the sexy world of online biz. Once you have this foundation you can go so far and having the space to explore your genius and see opportunities will change everything!
