How to Create Financial Freedom in Your Service Based Business

Everyone’s goal is financial freedom. We know that’s what you want! We understand you want to do things like bring your partner home to help you run your business, maybe even retire them early, be fully present for your kids, take more vacations, etc.

These are the things that make life that much better, and financial freedom is ultimately how you’re going to get there. But first, there’s a very important mindset shift you need to make, and that’s what we’re going to talk about in today’s blog post.

The Mindset Shift You Need to Make to Create Financial Freedom

Ultimately, creating financial freedom is all about showing up as the 2.0 version of yourself! What part of thinking can you do right now to open up space for financial freedom to actually happen? What needs to change in order to make that possible? If you were to break it down logistically, there are a number of things involved to help you step into your 2.0 version.

It’s about making sure you’re pricing accordingly. Long gone are the days of feeling overwhelmed and underpaid, especially when working towards feeling financially free and secure.

It’s about knowing your client capacity and your utilization. You shouldn’t be overworking yourself day in and day out, working 60-80+ hours per week without leaving room to focus on the person you are at the core.

It’s about making sure you’re delivering an impactful service that isn’t too complicated and doesn’t take too much of your time, but still provides great results.

It’s about shortening the time for people to go from a lead, to a prospect, to a client. Quickening that process is how you start getting paid faster and more efficiently.

It’s about utilizing relationships, testimonials, and referrals to land more dreamy clients. Don’t be afraid or embarrassed to use those words to your advantage! Do you purchase something on Amazon without reading the reviews first?

It’s about knowing your billable rate, how to factor that into scope creep, and setting boundaries around scope creep. So many service providers we know are mostly overworked and overwhelmed because of the fact that they allow clients to tack on more and more work that wasn’t initially agreed upon.

It’s about setting even more boundaries with your clients, yourself, and your family. It’s time to start putting yourself first and drawing thick lines between what you are and aren’t comfortable with, not just from clients.

It’s staying focused on what it is that you offer and how it impacts lives without allowing yourself to get distracted by all the ways you could offer this. Instead, do the thing you know is going to be most impactful, and keep doing that thing!

It’s about tweaking and repeating. Look back on stuff that’s worked for you in the past and go all in on that. Tweak a little bit about it, do it again, and repeat. Don’t try brand new things every single time.

It’s about trusting that there are clients out there willing to pay you a premium price. You can offer an amazing service that’s impactful to this world and your clients! It may sound cliché, but you really just have to believe in yourself and your capabilities.
