Our Top 3 Favorite Dubsado Features

Dubsado is our absolute favorite CRM because it brings the perfect blend of simplicity and robustness. It’s laid out in such a user-friendly way, yet it takes care of so many functions that the average business owner would need. From their forms, to workflows, to client portal, Dubsado is truly an all-in-one platform that we just can’t get enough of. Out of all of these amazing features though, we want to share our top three favorites.

This may be one of the most difficult blog posts we’ve ever had to write. It’s so hard to try to narrow this list down to only just three, but if we listed all of them, we’d be writing a complete guide to all of their features. (Oh, wait, we already did.) Let’s get to it!

1. Workflows

If you know anything about us at all, you know that we're all about automating. We live by the set-it-and-forget-it motto, and putting things on autopilot is our all-time favorite activity because it saves us time and energy. With Dubsado's workflows, you're able to automate your client management processes so you don't have the headache of having to think… 

“Okay, wait, did I follow up with this person already?”

“Oh shoot, this client is still waiting for their proposal but I need to edit it first. Why didn't I add that to my to-do list?”

“Crap, it's already been 4 months since I stopped working with this client, and I forgot to ask for a testimonial!”

 These are all things that you can automate in Dubsado. Once someone submits your lead capture form, you could automatically send an email to let them know you'll be in touch soon. After your discovery call with a client, you can have Dubsado create a to-do to edit their proposal/contract/invoice. You can also add a canned email asking for a testimonial after your project has ended.

And that just scratches the surface of workflows' functionalities. Check out this blog post to learn how to use workflows, plus more tips. Automating is a small time investment in the beginning, but you make it back tenfold when you realize all the things that are being done for you.

2. Forms

And we mean all forms. If you didn't know, Dubsado not only has proposals but questionnaires, contracts, subcontracts, and lead capture forms as well. Their design tool is super user-friendly (especially when you use our templates from The Shop), so they make it easy to just drag and drop blocks of content inside. You could have a form for literally anything you want.

Not only that, but we love the fact that you're able to have public forms that you can showcase or send the link to, or you can embed it into a page on your website. And might we add, there's absolutely NO Dubsado branding anywhere on the forms you create, so you can make them 100% your own. To take it one step further, you can even use public forms in place of a website! *swoon*

3. Canned Emails

It was almost impossible to choose our final top favorite, but we're going to have to go with canned emails for this one. (And, yes, it does have everything to do with our crazy love for automating things.)

When you open your Canned Emails section in Dubsado, they already give you so many pre-written emails to choose from. If you want to, you can add a little spice to them or change up some of the wording to add more information. You can add canned emails to workflows so that they're already ready to go, or you can choose one when manually sending an email through Dubsado. If there's ever an email you find yourself writing a lot that isn't already included, just add it to your canned emails!
